2022 was a busy year on the video front which enabled us to invest in lots of new gear. Technology is moving so fast with lots of crazy new advancements… it’s often hard to keep up! We invested in a new 6K Black Magic camera which has been such a great addition in capturing amazing filmic visuals. We have new lenses and a wide-angle lens for filming interior real estate work. With 6K Raw footage, we need to process and handle it instantly on the timeline, so our new Apple Mac Studio is capable of these demanding tasks. Playback/processing FX in real-time and making file exports is super fast while speeding up overall efficiency on projects. Using DaVinci Resolve things are working a treat… 64GB of RAM makes VFX and compositing less of a headache and opens up plenty of creative options. I nearly forgot… we got a new DJI 4K Drone which is phenomenally good technically plus its tiny size makes flying inside places possible., it takes 48MP images that look outstanding for advertising.
